Long considered world-class in the effectiveness of its programs and delivery, The Pacific Institute has created PX2 to help young people recognize that they do have choices in life. By understanding how the human mind works, how their current beliefs and attitudes shape their expectations for
the future, our youth learn that they are in control of the way they think, and can use that power to change the way they live their lives.

PX2 Facilitator Training [$400; $700 when combined with the PX2 Workshop on April 25 and 26]
Congratulations! You have completed the PX2 Workshop. Are you ready to become a PX2 facilitator? This one and a half day training program will take you on another self-discovering journey as you learn the skills to facilitate this workshop for youth and their parents, teachers, and friends. You will understand the effectiveness of guiding and mentoring rather than teaching. And as a PX2 facilitator, you will create an encouraging atmosphere that supports youth development and engagement. As participants learn the tools for positive change and develop community projects, you will become a champion for personal growth and leadership.

Participants will complete TPI’s Investment in Excellence program and receive a manual, CDs, follow-up coaching, CEU credits, invitations to other ABP events, and technical support in building a collaborative project.  Furthermore, participants who complete this 4-day workshop will become eligible for candidacy in the facilitator training program.  Target audience:  Philadelphia leadership - for personal and professional development and collaboration building.

Institute for Youth Leadership: Summer Session [$995 | Please note: we have a limited number of scholarships available. Please inquire if interested]
(high school/middle school students referred by teachers and/or principals).
There are three major components of the Summer Institute:

A. Camp for youth:
     1. TPI Youth program – PX2
     2. Photo Workshop
     3. Environmental Service Learning Program
     4. Individual and group coaching
     5. Guest speakers and site visits
     6. A Better Philadelphia Clubs – back at their schools
B. 1-Day Workshop for Parents, Teachers, and Principals: this is a required component of the Institute for Youth Leadership.
C. End of Summer Session social event for youth, parents, teachers, etc. All are welcome!
