Cost

Twelve 1-hour sessions throughout the year called “Introduction to A Better Philadelphia.”

No cost

Six 1-day workshops – participants will take part in a didactic and experiential workshop but will not receive a manual, CDs, follow-up coaching, or CEU credits.  Target audience:  Community members - for personal development.

Four 1 and ½ day workshops - participants will receive workshop, a manual, CDs, follow-up coaching, and CEU credits.  Target audience:  agency leaders and staff - for personal and professional development.

Two 4-day workshops – participants will complete TPI’s Investment in Excellence program and receive a manual, CDs, follow-up coaching, CEU credits, invitations to other ABP events, and technical support in building a collaborative project.  Furthermore, participants who complete this 4-day workshop will become eligible for candidacy in the facilitator training program.  Target audience:  Philadelphia leadership - for personal and professional development and collaboration building.

Summer Institute for Youth Leadership (high school/middle school students referred by teachers and/or principals).  There are three major components of the Summer Institute:

  1. Camp for youth:
    1. TPI Youth program – PX2 – week 1
    2. Service learning project
    3. Individual and group coaching
    4. Guest speakers and site visits
    5. A Better Philadelphia Clubs – back at their schools
  1. 1-Day Workshop for Parents, Teachers, and Principals: this is a required component of the Summer Institute for Youth Leadership.
  2. End of Institute social event for youth, parents, teachers, etc. All are welcome!
